This award recognizes the 50 fastest growing Canadian technology companies with the highest percentage of revenue growth from 2015 to 2018. We are excited to make this list again and could not have had such success without our hardworking team, restaurant and strategic partners, and, of course, our loyal customers. Thank you all!  To qualify for the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 ranking, companies must have been in business for at least four years, have revenues of at least $5 million, be headquartered in Canada, own proprietary technology, conduct research and development activities in Canada and invest a minimum of five percent of gross revenues in R&D. For both Deloitte and the team here at Foodee, the Technology Fast 50™ is more than just an award: it’s about a growing, supportive community.

When we started Foodee in 2011, we made the decision to partner with owner-operated restaurants and help local small businesses grow by reaching a broader market with office catering. Likewise, as a thriving tech company, we understand just how important company culture is—and how essential it is to find ways to build a healthy, social and supportive workplace. We do this by feeding our team and those at companies across North America.  As we’ve grown from a gritty, fast-paced start-up in Vancouver, Canada to a food-tech leader in multiple cities in Canada and the U.S., we’ve stayed true to our roots and our values right from the beginning. We’ve worked hard to maintain our start-up agility, company culture and innovation while maturing into a leading tech company in Canada.

There are plenty of growing pains and challenges that come with every stage of business growth, especially in the fast-paced culture of technology startups.
